These pliers have been developed for opening and closing earless flat clips on axle boots, e.g. Oetiker stepless clamp type 168.

• The use of thermoplastic sleeves on current vehiclemodels requires stronger hose clamps to prevent leakage of lubricant.
• The usage of the stronger stainless-steel clamps again requires high application of force which, due to the builtin transmission with these pliers, can be easily applied by the mechanic.
• Another advantage: No damage to the axle boot - minimal risk of damages!
